City Hall was registered with the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The nominating application may be seen below. There is one small error in the application which identifies the style of the building as Queen Anne. It is, in fact, Richardson Romanesque. Many will find the black and white pictures of City Hall made in 1981 to be of interest.
